Fees & Payments Policy
By becoming a seller on Martmox marketplace you will be charged marketplace fees. By opening a seller account on Martmox, you’re agreeing to our Policy of Terms of Use. Sellers are required to pay the following types of fees.

1. Types of Fees
Sellers may be required to pay the following types of fees. Please note that all fees are listed exclusive of any other taxes that may apply.
Listing Fees
As a seller, you will be charged a non-refundable listing fee of $0.25 AUD for each item that you list for sale on Martrmox.com.au or at any mobile apps owned by Martmox.com.au. All the new sellers enjoy no-fee listings period for one year. The listing fee applies to all the listings you create or renew. Editing of all the listings is free. Each time you list an item, you will be charged a listing fee whether or not the listed item sells. Thew current expiry time for all the listings is five months which will be reviewed from time to time to keep pace with the industry progress. For listings with the multiple quantities of the same item, the initial listing fee will be $0.25 AUD, and the listing will be automatically renewed at $0.20 AUD each time the item sells. All the listing fees are non-refundable and deducted at the time the listing is published or renewed.
All the listings will automatically renew at the end of the current five-month listing period, unless you disable automatic renewals of any listing. For all the listings with auto-renewal option selected, you will be charged the listing fee of $0.25 AUD for each of these listings until you cancel automatic renewals.
All the new sellers enjoy no listing fee for the first three months.
Transaction Fees
When you make a sale through Martmox.com.au, you will be charged three types of fees which are Martmox transaction fee, PayPal payment processing fee @ 2.60% of the total sale amount and PayPal fixed fee of AU$0.30 per sale. For a limited time - For your first year, you will pay only 5% transaction fee. There is no other monthly subscription charged to selling on Martmox marketplace. This total sale amount includes the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for shipping and gift wrapping. All the transaction fees are deducted from your current balance after each sale occurs and are reflected in your payment account.
$30.00 Selling Fees Discount
Get rewarded to start your selling journey at Martmox Marketplace. On top of our Lowest Selling Fee, all the new sellers enjoy $30.00 Selling fee discount. This offer is valid until 31 December 2024. All the new sellers who join Martmox Marketplace and list their products by 31 December 2024, become automatically eligible for this offer.
Keeping Our Commitment
In line of our commitment to help Aussie online sellers, all the new sellers pay only discounted fees for the first First Year and receives a $30.00 selling fees discount.
Quality Pre-loved Items
Get rid of your unwanted stuff. All the pre-loved quality items sold on Martmox Marketplace until 30 June 2024, are charged only 4% Selling fee.
2. Fee Avoidance
Fee avoidance is strictly prohibited at Martmox marketplace. Fee avoidance is any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee. This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase an item through another platform. A transaction initiated on Martmox marketplace may not be completed off at Martmox marketplace. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding transaction fees, misrepresent the item’s location, or use another user's account without permission.
3. Paying your Selling Fees
Martmox will automatically deduct all fees owed from your seller account. Provided you have sufficient funds in your payment account no further payment action is required. If your payment account does not contain sufficient funds you are responsible for paying any fees owed in full within 15 days of the date of your monthly statement, or the account will be considered past due, and Martmox may charge your card on file or take other actions to collect funds. If you make a sale while you have an outstanding balance the net sale amount will be applied to your outstanding balance. You may pay your outstanding balance manually by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
Your statement is available in your payment account at the beginning of each month and will detail all sales and fees activity from the preceding month. Martmox may suspend your selling privileges at any time pending payment of your outstanding balance.
Aside from the limited circumstances set out below, you are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes associated with using and making sales through Martmox marketplace.
