The slightly basic nature of potassium bicarbonate helps neutralise chemical fires and smothers the combusting material to put out the flames.Neutralise Acidic SoilPotassium Bicarbonate is used widely in agriculture as a soil neutraliser due to its basic nature and low toxicity.
