1. Registration and Account Setup
Step 1: Register as a Seller
- Visit the Martmox website and navigate to Footer > Become a Seller > Apply for a Seller Account.
- Fill in the required details such as name, email, business name, contact information and other information.
- Accept the seller terms and conditions.
- Click "Submit" and wait for admin approval.
Step 2: Account Verification and Approval
- After submitting the application, your profile details will be reviewed.
- You will receive an email notification once your account is approved.
- Log in credentials will be shared via email, or you may set up a password if prompted.
2. Setting Up Your Seller Profile
Step 1: Accessing the Seller Panel
- Log in to your seller account by navigating to Footer > Become a Seller > Seller Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Seller Info section.
Step 2: Complete Your Business Profile
Navigate to Seller Info > General and add the necessary information.
- Name of your business: Enter your registered store or business name.
- Status: Ensure it is set to Active to start selling.
- Language & Title: Choose your preferred language and title (Mr., Mrs., Miss, etc.).
- Email & Phone: Provide a valid email and contact number.
- Website: (Optional) You can provide your business website URL if available.
- Warehouse Location, Product Condition, and Quantity: Choose the appropriate options from the dropdown menus.
- Address Details: Fill in your complete business address, including city, state, country, and postal code.
- Terms and Conditions: Confirm that you have read and agree to the marketplace’s seller terms.
- Email Notifications: Confirm that you will check your inbox and spam folder for important updates.
- Location: Enter a location that helps Google Maps determine your position (useful for logistics or storefront visibility).
Stripe Connect: If your marketplace uses Stripe for payments, connect your Stripe account using the “Connect with Stripe Standard” button to receive payouts.
3. Configure Add-ons tab
- SEO Name: Customize the URL path for your store page. This helps with search engine visibility.
- Messenger: Ensure the status is set to Active to enable communication through the built-in messaging system.
